A Deep Water Culture (DWC) growing method involves suspending your plants’ roots in a highly oxygenated and nutrient-rich water solution. This allows you to grow healthier and stronger crops in an extremely convenient and easy way.
We understand it may be difficult to know exactly what nutrients and how much to provide your plants - and at what times - which is why we’ve compiled a DWC grow guide for you to follow and get the most out of your plants. Follow this ultimate guide, keeping pH levels between 5.7 and 6.4 throughout both the grow and the bloom stages, and see your crops flourish.
When you’re getting started, make sure to adjust the electrical conductivity of your solution, and adding DWC and a root stimulant for the best start:
This stage is ideal to provide your plants with an armour for endurance and to speed up the growth. This is when you start introducing a bugicide, an enzyme to break down dead roots into nutrients, a tonic to revive your plants, a product to improve your plants’ resistance, and a continuous flush to prevent salt build-ups.
The bloom stage allows you to add boosts for the best possible flowering and yield. Boost the production of oils and sugars and add a boost of magnesium and calcium for stronger plants. This stage typically lasts for nine weeks.
